Our Focus Nations. The 10/40 Window
The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from West Africa across Asia between 10 degrees latitude north of the equator and 40 degrees north. In this area live the majority of the world’s Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. American Christians give only 0.5% of their offerings towards reaching these unreached peoples. They are our focus.
Sasak of Indonesia
With only ten known believers among them, the 2.8 Million Sasak are desperately in need of the good news of Jesus. They are Muslim yet many also worship the spirits of their ancestors and spirits that live in the forest, mountains and rivers. Almost all Sasak live on the Island of Lombok, Indonesia.
Somali of Somalia
Among the nine million Somalis in Somalia, only 0.30% are Christian. They are 97% Muslim. Across northeastern Africa known as the “Horn of Africa” and the Middle East, there are over sixteen million Somalis and many live a Nomadic Lifestyle while others are more settled as farmers or craftsmen.
Moor of Morocco
Although there are Moor peoples scattered across nine African countries, the largest number of them live in Morocco. There has been little to no response to the Gospel among these 3.1 million Moor people in Morocco. They are 100% Muslim with no Christians among them.
Handicapped children are often neglected by their parents and by society. The aged are also often neglected. Showing God’s love through an orphanage and a home for the deaf and hearing impaired and the aged is one way our team works to bring the gospel to this area.
Women in Nepal
In a nation where new believers are considered “untouchables”- the caste you do not mix with; a business designed to teach women about how God sees them brings great value to their lives. The blend of business and missions is the perfect way to share the love of God with these women.
Morocco, the Western Sahara, Algeria, Mauritania, Niger, Tunisia, Chad and Libya all make up a region our mission calls North Africa. Most people in North Africa will go their whole lives never hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ even once.
